he design of the Dutch Runabout 22 is inspired by traditional wooden speedboats as the Riva, the Boesch and Hacker. This is reflected in classical lines such as the so-called tumblehome, wherein at the rear end the deck is narrower than at the waterline. Other classic features include the characteristic windscreen, the engine that is hidden and the comfortable cushions.

The Dutch Runabout 22 is not a speedboat as we know it. We prefer to call her a 'runabout'.
